He has a heart murmur and mitral valve disease, requiring daily heart meds (approx. $45) and check-ups twice per year. He’s a goofy boy about 10 years old who knows how to make everyone smile and laugh.

What does a typical workday look like for you?
I wake up, beg for breakfast, nap, walk, play with toys (or a sock), nap, beg for dinner, play, and beg for scratches.
If you could make one human food an official dog food, what would it be?
Everything! I love food. I love smelling it, I love eating. I am not a picky guy. Just not veggies, not the biggest fan of those.
What’s your favorite Ogden place to hang out?
Dumke Arts Plaza. They have a water mister that keeps me cool.
Are you an adventurous outdoorsman or strictly an indoor kind of guy?
I love adventure and welcome any excuse to get out, whether it's a car ride, a walk, or a lickmat with peanut butter.
What is one major misconception humans have about senior Chiweenies?
Yes, we are stubborn but only because we're cute. We should be allowed a free pass.
Do you feel mischaracterized by your breed stereotypes?
No, I fit the bill. I am loyal, affectionate, and have been known to be vocal.
What secret superpower will make your future human fall in love with you?
My belly. Once I turn around and ask for scratches, everyone falls in love. Plus, my tongue hangs out — the humans say it's quite cute.
What vibe do you bring to the living room? What do you look for in a family?
My vibe is chaotic unless you can wear me out or help me relax with scratches. I'd love a family that can afford my monthly heart meds and get my heart checked out at least twice a year. I'd love a home with a yard to keep up with my energy, a family that doesn't mind when I get vocal or beg for food. I'd do best with older kids that can respect my boundaries, as sometimes I can get mouthy for treats and jumpy when excited.
