2025 Summer Music Scene: The Best Festivals and Concerts In Ogden and Beyond

Music festival season in northern Utah kicked off with the Kilby Block Party in Salt Lake City this month and continues with three major events in Ogden this weekend: Ogden Music Festival, Ogden’s Own Distillery’s Summer Live Music Series, and Ogden Twilight Concert Series. Here is a list of festivals and outdoor concerts in the greater Ogden area and other favorites in the region through October, from free events to budget-friendly options to high-priced, premium experiences.

Red Butte Garden Outdoor Concert Series: May 29-Sept. 16, Red Butte Gardens, Salt Lake City, Utah
One of Utah’s most popular concert series, held at the outdoor amphitheater at Red Butte Garden, is a summer staple with its yearly bill loaded with well-known artists. The 2025 lineup includes Barenaked Ladies, Drive-By Truckers, Little Feat, Watchhouse, Alison Kraus & Union Station, Toad the Wet Sprocket, Elephant Revival, Michael Franti, My Morning Jacket, Rick Springfield, Ray Lamontagne, ZZ Top, Gregory Alan Isokov, and many more. General admission is first-come-first-served on a grassy slope, and outside food and drinks are permitted (adult beverages, too).Ogden Music Festival: May 30-June 1, Fort Buenaventura, Ogden, Utah
This three-day bluegrass & Americana music festival hosted by nonprofit Ogden Friends of Acoustic Music (OFOAM) features camping, workshops, and kids’ activities and celebrates its 17th year. The lineup includes Marty Stuart & His Fabulous Superlatives, Cimafunk, John Craigie with The Coffis Brothers, Pokey LaFarge, AJ Lee & Blue Summit, and more. Kids 16 & under free. Sunday is only $25.Ogden’s Own Distillery Summer Live Music Series: May 30-Aug. 29, Ogden’s Own Amphitheater, Ogden, Utah
This summer music series returns for a second year spotlighting local artists Floatinground, LionFish, Spirit Machines, The Proper Way, Two Headed Trout, and more with food trucks, handcrafted cocktails, local beer, and more will be available at the outdoor amphitheater. Friday and Saturday nights. $5, ages 21+.Sandy Amphitheater: May 31-Oct. 12, Sandy, Utah
This amphitheater has become one of Utah’s hottest venues. This year’s lineup includes Lord Huron, Trombone Shorty, Lake Street Dive, Lyle Lovett, Dwight Yoakam, Melissa Ethridge, Indigo Girls, Fitz and the Tantrums, Air Supply, Regina Spektor, Matt Kearney, Ziggy Marley, and more. General admission lawn seating is available. Blankets and chairs, and outside food and drinks (no alcohol or glass) are welcome.
JUNE
Ogden Twilight Concert Series: June 1-Sept. 25, Ogden Amphitheater, Ogden, Utah
Thousands from the region pour into the Ogden Amphitheater for these shows featuring big national and international artists, this year including KHRUANGBIN, Kaskade, Modest Mouse, Band of Horses, The Head & The Heart, Wilco, The Flaming Lips, and more. Admission is around $20. Food trucks and full bars on-site.Fork Fest: June 6-7, Art Dye Park, American Fork, Utah
The Aquabats! And 32 bands across three stages will perform, including Fictionist, Stretsch Armstrong (another 90s local legend reuniting with The Aquabats), Lantern By Sea, Robert Loud, Seaslak, The Penny Candies, The Last Wild Buffalo, Emjay Hink, Swerved by Blondes, Botanical Animal, and Avintaquin. Free outdoor concert series in Eden, hosted by Ogden Valley Pizza features local musicians including Underground Cash, Cory Mon, The Alpines, Christian Scheller, and more. Local musicians including Love Juliet, Alicia Stockman, Emily Hicks, Paddy Teglia, and more perform afternoons (11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.) and evenings (6:30 p.m.) on select Wednesdays each month throughout the summer at the OTECH pavilion. Food by OTECH Culinary Arts will be available. Bring your own blankets and chairs. Admission is free.Blues & Brews Summer Concert Series: June 15-Aug. 24, Snowbasin Resort, Huntsville, Utah
In the past these summer concerts were free but it’s still a bargain at $10. This year’s touring and local greats are Andy Frasco, Canyon Lights, Kris Lager Band, Pixie + The Partygrass Boys, Hot Buttered Rum, and more. This free, family-friendly outdoor concert features popular music from movies to musicals, jazz, and pop, performed by Chamber Orchestra Ogden. Food trucks will be on-site. Deer Valley Concert Series: July 3-Sept. 1, Snow Park Outdoor Amphitheater at Deer Valley Resort, Park City, Utah
The lineup, in partnership with the Utah Symphony and The State Room includes Common, the music of Paul Simon, Disney In Concert, Maren Morris, The Beach Boys, The Revivalists, Kaleo, and more. Sloped grass seating is available. Bring your own blankets and chairs. Food and beverages, including cocktails, beer, & wine (21 and older) will be available on-site.
Twilight Concert Series: July 12-Sept. 22, Gallivan Center & Library Square, Salt Lake City, Utah
The popular annual series in the center of downtown Salt Lake hosted by the Salt Lake City Arts Council returns with six dates, and a lineup of national artists: Earthgang, Sierra Ferrell, Waxahatchee, Japanese Breakfast, Mt. Joy, & Big Thief.
AUGUST
Ranch Rock IV: Aug. 9, Liberty, Utah
This all-day festival in the Ogden Valley mountains includes tent camping, hosted and headlined by Salt Lake City/Ogden-based band Hectic Hobo, with a lineup of local bands. Lineup announcement May 30.Park City Song Summit: Aug. 14-16, Park City, Utah
