The 4th Annual Speakeasy brings together local poets, musicians, visual and culinary artists for a single-night gathering in a cozy, historic space.
We’re excited to continue this tradition of uplifting our local arts scene during Utah Book Fest week. Hear inspiring spoken word, enjoy live jazz and original songwriting, learn some hidden Ogden history, or unwind with friends over craft drinks and local food. This is a night build around artistic connection and community spirit.
Featured artists include New Ogden Jazz Group, singer/songwriter Alexis K (new EP “Summertime Angel,” poets Patrick Ramsay, Sunni Wilkinson (Ogden’s Poet Laureate), KC Peak and Laura Ruiz (typewriter poetry). The talented and funny artist Leon Araujo (aka Noise Explosion) will be our emcee. Live painting, historic exhibit, and more to be announced.
Sample sandwich triangles, charcuterie and dessert squares from Atlas Tea Company (provided) and handcrafted cocktails by Unspoken Bar (available for purchase).
The Ogden Speakeasy is presented by The Ogdenite and Angelika Brewer and made possible with support from Utah Humanities, Unspoken Bar, Atlas Tea Company, and A Space for Everyone.
